New Caledonia

In the school holidays I went to New Caledonia for the first time. The sea was magnificent. I went from dark to really light and you could see it change. I saw green shelled turtles and balls of coral. My favourite was the fire coral because when ever you touch it, it feels like your hand is on fire even in the water. In Noumea, the capital city of New Caledonia, had a ice cream shop called Armarino. They had waffle stick with a ball of ice cream in the middle. We had our very own private beach. New Caledonia was amazing but I missed home too.
